LIBBY SARA DAY

CREATING IN THE PHYSICAL & DIGITAL REALMS

Over the years Libby Sara Day has developed a unique signature style with a keen interest in architectures and scale, she creates contemporary art, interior pieces, jewelry, and sculptures using metals, developing some of her work to include wood, plastics, and glass. Inspiration and work stems from the research of the natural and built environments. Concepts and designs are developed through hand sketches and paper models initially. Day embraces new technologies, as well as traditional hand making methodologies and tools, and often uses computer softwares within the her development and production process. Day's keen interest in architectures, use of scale and material selection informs the resulting piece of work.
